NASSCOM’s flagship event, NILF 2011, starts this Tuesday (8th) at Mumbai. As always, Prayag (Jayanthi and I this time) will be blogging during the event.
Some of the sessions I am looking forward to are Raghuram Rajan’s keynote on The changing world order and India’s place in it and the panel discussion that follows which includes one of my favourite analysts, Swaminathan Aiyer. I would also want to listen to the business keynote on Day 1 where Chandrasekhar of TCS participates and check out if Vishwanathan Anand is able to speak as well as he thinks (again on day 1)!
On Day 2, the opening session led by customers – Blending IT’s cutting edge with business- the road blocks- looks interesting. All sessions focused on India – Inclusive India, the great Indian opportunity etc. sound promising. Last, one must make time for the social media becoming the 5th estate session to be anchored by Sashi Tharoor- both for content and speaker! For those who attended the event last year, Tharoor was easily amongst the best speakers of the event.
The sessions apart, this week is time for catching up with industry contacts- I am looking forward to this; no other event brings the industry together the way NILF does.
Watch out for more posts during the week both here and at http://indialeadershipforum.nasscom.in/blog/2011/01/why-you-should-be-attending-nilf-2011/
